The original Sophisticated Dance parties began 2 years ago, October 2005. Their first ever party launched at what was Hertfordshire’s best private members venue at the time, Aura, which attracted a Thursday night crowd out to Town for the most awesome dance night that it turned out to be. It was from this 1st event in 2005 where the Sophisticated Dance logo, of a butterfly along with the female caricature plus the most important, DJ’s (SD-DJ) became recognized as a brand, and continues to grow until today.

Watford town lacked a truly good night where house music was the headlining music. It was a sell out party just like the others were until, sadly Aura was bought out and shut down!

Since then, Sophisticated Dance have been busy promoting events all over London, in masses of clubs and now have a huge support (which is still growing) from UK clubbers who enjoy a good spot of Funky/Dirty/Electro House beats, all set in some of the cities best venues.
